mydo.io supports 165+ connectors across every layer of the modern data stack. Most connect via REST API (no agent required). You provide credentials (OAuth, API key, connection string) and we crawl your tables, schemas, and job history directly. Credentials are AES-256 encrypted at rest and never returned in plaintext to the browser.
Most teams have their first lineage graph live within 15 minutes. Create a workspace, add a data stack (choose from 6 pre-built templates or build with the drag-and-drop canvas), configure live connections, and click "Start Crawl". The graph populates from real metadata in your source systems automatically.
Run Mode animates how data flows through your lineage graph using BFS traversal from source nodes. If you click an alert while in Run Mode, the graph traces from the source to the exact point of failure — making it instantly clear what broke and what's downstream of it.
Start Crawl performs a deep fetch of all tables, columns, row counts, jobs, and dashboards from your connected tool — storing richer metadata than a simple connectivity test. Results appear in the "Crawl Results" tab grouped by schema, with column types and row counts for each table. This data also powers the lineage graph when you use it with a data stack.

Yes — Enterprise plans include fully supported on-premise and private-cloud deployments. The stack is FastAPI + React + PostgreSQL, designed to run on a single server or Kubernetes. Docker Compose and Helm charts are provided. Your data and credentials never leave your infrastructure.
A Connector is a tool type (e.g., PostgreSQL). A Connection is a specific named instance with real credentials (e.g., "Production PostgreSQL" and "Staging PostgreSQL" are two separate Connections). This lets you manage multiple environments for the same tool type without duplication.
